He was predeceased by: his parents, Hobart Rushbrook and Elizabeth Yarber Rushbrook; his sons, Steve D. Rushbrook and Timothy A. Rushbrook; and his siblings, Jerry Rushbrook, John Rushbrook, Frankie Rushbrook, Richard Rushbrook and Sharon Rushbrook.
He is survived by: his wife Mai Rushbrook; his sons, John Rushbrook (Joy) and Michael F. Rushbrook (Carolyn); his grandchildren, Johnathan, Mai, John Jr., Jeffrey Rushbrook, Michael A, Kirby J. Timothy B. Rushbrook, Leah Lafontaine, Olivia DeMoss, Devan Disher, Christian Gibbs and Saira Smith; his great grandchildren, Keegan DeMoss, Koleson Newsome, Kallan Newsome, Wylie La Fontaine, Ellie Disher and Clark Disher; and his siblings, Harry Rushbrook and Charlene Clayton.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chance & Hydrick Funeral Home (2520 Richmond Hill Rd, Augusta, GA 30906). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Chance and Hydrick Funeral Directors (2520 Richmond Hill Rd, Augusta, GA 30906). A burial will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at the Hillcrest Memorial Park (2700 Deans Bridge Rd, Augusta, GA 30906).
