We bid farewell to Larry Young of Augusta, Georgia, born in Waynesboro, Georgia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 15, 2025 at the age of 69. Larry touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his son Torando Vertron Young; his brothers, Roosevelt Palmer and Beatha Palmer; his son Anthony Gilbert; and his grandchildren, Torando "Noot" Young, Jr., Toriana Young and Tyren Young.

He is survived by: his wife Janice Curry Young; his friends, Mack Curry (Lavonna), Elester Lockhart (Leon) and Donnie Ferrell (Yvette); his siblings' children, Consuela Brown (Clarence), Nicchoe Smith, Marcie Curry, Jumaane Middleton (Shontavia), Larrissa Mitchell (Darren) and Roddrick Flounory; and his siblings, Willie Palmer, Mary Flounory, Lonzy Palmer, Cisro Young, Minnie Pryor, Nelson Kirkland (Sabrina), Rochelle Kirkland and Kenneth Kirkland. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the B. A. Williams Memorial Chapel (2945 Old Tobacco Rd, Hephzibah, GA 30815).
