She was predeceased by: her father Howard Stanley Short. She is survived by: her mother Mary "Betty" Thompson Short of Augusta; and her sisters, Syrie Short Legersky (Tom) of Apollo and Laura Burcham (Greg) of Jacksonville, Florida. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
