She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Thomas Shurling and Teresa Stanley Shurling; her husband James H. Goodman; and her siblings, Mary S. Bruce and Tommy Shurling.
She is survived by: her daughters, Amy G. Screws (Tony) of Sandersville and Emily G. Johnson of Sandersville; her son-in-law Wayne Johnson; her granddaughters, Bethany Screws (Peyton Schuyler) and Rachel Nicole Kicklighter; her great grandchildren, Cathryn Kicklighter and Camryn Kicklighter; her sister Sue Tompkins (Frank) of Oconee; and her sister-in-law Cynthia G. Barron of Lilburn.
