He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Watson Parker and Oillie Atkinson Parker; and his grandson Bailey Dalber. He is survived by: his wife Linda Parker; his children, Jerry Parker (Lee), Wendy Dalber and Kelly Lewis (Johnny); his adoptive daughters, Tara Crabb and Savannah Yates; his grandchildren, Austin Whisenant, Dylan Parker, Jordan Parker (Kassandra), Barret Dalber (Tori), Ryan Dalber (Brooklynn), Kayla Mims (Caleb) and Emmy Underwood; and his great grandchildren, Jaxon Mims and Saylor Mims.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors (214 Davis Rd, Augusta, GA 30907). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Thomas Poteet & Sons Funeral Directors (214 Davis Rd, Augusta, GA 30907).
