She was predeceased by: her former husband Robert Knight Sr.; and her son Kenneth Knight. She is survived by: her husband Charles Nelson; her sister Beatrice Anderson (Otey); her sons, Robert Knight Jr. (Susan), Christopher Knight (Laura) and David Nelson (Monica); her grandchildren, Kyle Knight (Brinne), Ashlyn Knight (Greg), Johnothan Knight, Robert Knight, Linnea Nelson, Charlie Jung and Julia Volmer; and her great grandchild Braelyn Stewart. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
