She was predeceased by: her parents, Heywood Newby and Margaret Newby (Hewitt). She is survived by: her husband Norbert Coleman; her daughter Heather Ystenes; and her sisters, Nancy Ferrel (Phillip), Dusty and Stephanie (Chris).
Visitation was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Elliot and Sons Funeral Home (2524 Lumpkin Rd, Augusta, GA 30906). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Elliott and Sons Funeral Home (2524 Lumpkin Rd, Augusta, GA 30906).
