With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Margaret Miles Durant Dunstan of Augusta, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 22, 2025 at the age of 78. She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Durant and Edward Durant; and her sister Sarah Beirne "Tally" Durant (James Richard Dunstan Sr.). She is survived by: her husband Richard Dunstan; her children, James Richard Dunstan Jr. (Kathryn), Charles Gordon Dunstan (Jennifer), Daniel Miles Dunstan (Isabella) and Margaret Durant Dunstan; her grandchildren, Charlie, Mills, Bella and Miles; and her in-laws, Barney, Virginia Dunstan, Brenda Durant, Rick Sroufe, Dot Mooney, Connie Snead, Lisa and Jay Murray. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 at 10:15 AM at the St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church (1420 Monte Sano Ave, Augusta, GA 30904). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
