She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev Everett Wingler and Zida Wingler; her son Greg Elkins; her siblings, Ralph, Fred, Billy Wingler, Mildred Brown, Madeline McCoy, Fran Duncan, Lou Ann Workman and Ruby Morris; her grandsons, Gregory Elkins and Travis Elkins; and her great grandchild Gregory Anthony Meade.
She is survived by: her husband Cecil "Red" Otto Elkins of Augusta, GA; her children, Sherry Meade (Tony) of Grovetown, GA, Crystal Stagg (Doug) of Raleigh, Aleashia Browning of Raleigh, Richard Elkins of Mansfield and Tony Elkins (Rhonda) of Green Valley, WV; and her grandchildren, Jason Meade, Joshua Meade, TJ Elkins, Austin Elkins, Joseph Jacobs, Mandy Browning, Emily Browning, Alex Harper, Noah Elkins, Bailey Elkins, Christina Gerber, Kelly Brownell and Caleb Elkins. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren, along with a host friends.
In lieu of flowers, Lorraine would hope that you will do an unexpected and unsolicited act of kindness for some poor unfortunate soul or make a donation to the Alzheimer's Association.
