It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margie James McCollum (Augusta, Georgia), born in Jesup, Georgia, who passed away on May 6, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby James and Charlie James; and her siblings, Lindy James and Gloria James Aldridge. She is survived by: her children, Cecil "Iceman" Edward McCollum Jr., Augusta, Reverend James Randall McCollum (Theda) of Newport News, VA and Leslie McCollum Mobley (Jeff Mobley) of Snellville, GA; her sister Debbie Tyre (Hershel Tyre) of Jesup, GA; her grandchildren, Heather Wiederholt (Paul), Hunter McCollum (Gabrielle) and Hannah Elise Mobley; and her great grandchildren, Anna Wiederholt, Jack Wiederholt, Eden McCollum and Elise McCollum.
