He is survived by: his wife Lisa Pennington Patterson; his siblings, Melanie Tovar (Jose) of Grovetown, GA and David Patterson (Ruth) of Souderton, PA; and his nieces and nephews, Danielle Phillips (Chris), Brandon Broome, Christopher Thompson, Jessica Priest (James), Brandon Tovar (Lauren), Jordan Tovar, Chase Tovar, Eva Broome, Remington Priest, Cecily Priest, Xander Tovar, Sage Tovar, Ryan Patterson and Armani Broome.
