She is survived by: her husband Jim Nelson; her children, Brock Nelson of Atlanta, Angelia Nelson Drew (Tim) of Cincinnati, Michael Nelson of Cincinnati and Jennifer Nelson Arnberger (Brian) of Atlanta; her grandchildren, Anthony Nelson, Caitlin Drew, Callie Drew, Jacob Arnberger and Barrett Arnberger; and her siblings, Tommy Jacob of San Diego, CA and Kathy Jacob Eberhardt of Battle Creek, MI..
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mountain Park United Methodist Church (1405 Rockbridge Rd SW, Stone Mountain, GA 30087).
