He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Addison Bass and Lonnie Bell Bass; and his great grandchild Lauren Binns Waters. He is survived by: his wife Flossie Odessa Ackerman Bass; his sister Bobbie Bass Gee; his brother-in-law Alex Haynes; his children, Marvin Leo Bass Jr. (ML), Brenda Thompson (Bob), Larry Bass (Elaine) and Ronnie Bass (Sherry); his granddaughter Stephanie Bass (Summers); and his great grandchildren, Leslie Bass, Marvin Leo Bass III (Mickey), Shane Hicks (Michele), Jason Hicks (Page), Chadwick Michael Bass Sr., Heather Hutchinson, Derrick Bass, Carolyn Smith, Connor Hicks, Carly Hicks, Kristin Hicks, Brandon Hicks, Chadwick Michael Bass Jr. (Chad), Kailey Jones, Kayla Hutchinson and Hannah Quick. He is also survived by (GRANNY), his 4 sisters.
In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in honor of his Granddaughter Hannah Quick.
