He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Columbus Burleson and Cozzie Elizabeth Moore Burleson; his wife Jo Ann Burleson; his son Bradley Burleson; and his in-laws, Homer and Josie Medley.
He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Martin (Wayne) of Augusta; his daughter-in-law Laura Harrison Burleson of Denham Springs; and his grandchildren, Lauren Hodges (Heather) of Greenwood, Kim Martin of Augusta, GA and Peyton Burleson of Denham Springs. He is also survived by five nieces, four nephews.
