She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Holzer and Caroline Holzer; her husband William Kalas; her son Gary Kalas; and her siblings, Clarence, Caroline and Edward Holzer.
She is survived by: her daughter Kathleen Mei-Socrates; her son-in-law Bill Socrates of Augusta, GA.; her granddaughter Kristina Gripko (Chris); her great grandchildren, Annabelle Marie and Jacob William; her grandson Robert Mei (Katy) of Brandon, FL.; her great grandchild Elizabeth Marie; and her grandson Andrew William Socrates of Mt. Pleasant, SC.. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
