She was predeceased by: her husband Rudolph "Rudy" Hughes; her daughter Bonnie Kirby; and her sister Hazel Humphrey. She is survived by: her siblings, William T. Taylor, Jr. and Dorothy Dugan; her close friend Kathy Ivey; and her caregiver Wendy Fore. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
