It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melody Elaine Hyatt of Augusta, Georgia, who passed away on May 17, 2025, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Sandra Kay; and her stepfather William "Billy" Kay. She is survived by: her father Charles Gay; her stepmother Virginia "Tiny" Gay; her children, Brandi Green (Kyle) and Irvin Hyatt, II; her grandchildren, Kaelin, Bradan, Hunter and Madeline; and her siblings, Robin Prescott, Charlotte Raley, Renee Nasworthy, Jacqueline Hawk and Jimmy Kay.
