We are sad to announce that on December 13, 2024, at the age of 92, Melvin B. Roberts Sr. (Augusta, Georgia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Stiner Baxley Roberts and Hazel Storey Roberts; his wife Judy Jameson Roberts; and his sons, Melvin Roberts, Jr. and Michael Roberts.

He is survived by: his son Steve Roberts (Angie); his grandchildren, Terri Gibbs (Matthew) and Prisila Reilly (Brandon); his great grandchildren, Parker Gibbs (Moira), Chandler Gibbs, Ansley Gibbs and Jude Reilly; his brother-in-law Tommy Jameson (Joyce); and his sibling's children, Wade Jameson and Joy Brown.

Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Augusta, 3500 Walton Way Extension, Augusta, GA 30909.
