With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael A. Via of Augusta, Georgia, born in Clifton Forge, Virginia, who passed away on August 11, 2023 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Allen Via and Elsie Marie Via; his parents-in-law, James and Virginia Dorn; and his brother David Edmond Via.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Dorn Via; his children, Timothy Michael Via (Robin), Elizabeth Via Corbitt (Sanford) and Leah Via Herzwurm (Brant); his grandchildren, Caleb Sanford Corbitt, Jackson Brent Corbitt, Hunter James Via, Michael Elliott Corbitt, Graham Michael Herzwurm, Hailey Ann Via and Baby Girl Herzwurm; and his brother Evan Jennings Via of Maryland. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, sister-and brother-in-laws.
