He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Clifton and Betty Lucille Glenn Shurling. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Bowman Shurling of Cochran; his children, Tommy "T. J." Floyd (Candace) of Cochran and Jessica Floyd of Cochran; his grandchildren, Hunter Davis and Riley Davis of Cochran; his siblings, Liz Head (James) of Hawkinsville, Sharon Howard (Ray) of Hawkinsville and Paul Goodroe (Paula McLeod) of Hawkinsville; his half-sister Twila McDuffie of Hawkinsville; and his pets, Prissy, R. J., Sophie and Roxie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mathis Funeral Home (151 E Dykes St, Cochran, GA 31014). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
