He was predeceased by: his parents, William Duckworth and Louise Duckworth. He is survived by: his children, Gardner Duckworth, Mathurin Duckworth and Wilkes Duckworth; his brother Paul Duckworth (Christa); his nephew William Duckworth (Alisha); and his great-nephews, Emerson and Arthur.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Augusta, 3500 Walton Way Ext., Augusta, Georgia 30909.
