She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Eleanor Emily Carter Lyons and Colman Lyons; her husband Lorenzo J. Reese; her nieces, Dr. Ruth E. Neal, Leahlette Lyons Williams, Aletha Lyons Johnson, Marceline Lyons and Jeannette Zellars (Calvin); her nephew George W. C. Lyons, Jr. (Lacrechia); and her godchildren, Vera Warren Williams (Garry Williams) and Dr. Brett Lee.
