She was predeceased by: her parents, Stoffard L. Clayton and Laura E. Henderson Clayton; her siblings, James Ardell Clayton, Gladys Christine Clayton, Vance Lee Clayton, Harold Marchant Clayton, Marjorie Virginia Clayton, Marshall Deland Clayton and Crystal Ann Clayton; and her daughter Catherine Summers.

She is survived by: her children, Dianne Ivey Waller (David), Kathy Ivey Adams (Jerry) and Gregory "Greg" Lee Ivey, Sr.; her niece Judy Genobles Morris (Johnny); and her grandchildren, Dana Clayton Jenkins (Richie), James "Jamie" Randolph Clayton (Denise), Joel Robert Clayton (Emily), Ivey Nicole Savage (Matt), Gregory Lee Ivey, Jr. and Laura Ashley Ivey West. She is also survived by her twelve great grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, and nephews.

“You know I tried to call a while back. Didn't get an ans. I didn't want to look any further because I was afraid of what I would hear. Last I talked to her she was frail and having terrible issues. We go way back. Used to call each other no less than once a week. Our original connection was Pekingese, but we talked about everything (mostly family as time went on.) She was so happy when Greg moved back after his long absence. She loved those grandkids and great grand babies. God Bless”
