She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Jordan and Margaret Wilcher Jordan; and her husband James F. Byrd, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Andrea Byrd-Doak of Martinez, Elizabeth Byrd Palmer (Anthony) of Warrenville, James F. Byrd, II of Augusta and Christopher B. Byrd of Augusta; her grandchildren, Ashley Pelton (Scott), AJ Doak (Megan) of Martinez, Melissa Palmer (Chris) of Warrenville, Benjamin Pelton (Annie) of Talmo, James F. Byrd, III of San Antonio, TX, Brandy Doak Schlein (Greg) and Andrea Buono of Martinez; her great grandchildren, Gracelynn Rae Doak, Alexis Zumbro, Kylie Schlein, Austin Adams, Zack, Melanie Pelton, Graylynn Elizabeth Lever, Isabella TyAnne Pelton and Willa Grace Petrea; and her sister Elizabeth Amerson of Appling. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins which were more like sisters and brothers.
