He was predeceased by: his mother Margie Lee Varner (Cox). He is survived by: his father Edwin Nathan Varner; his wife Beth James Varner; his children, Jonathan Varner (Ashley), James Varner (Braci), Judith Varner and Jeffrey Varner; his grandchildren, Lyra Wright, Luna Wright, Nova Wright, Leo Wright, Joshua Varner and Harper Varner; his brother Louie Varner (Miki); and his brothers-in-law, Richard James, Thomas James, Jack Hixon and Scott Hixon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
