He was predeceased by: his parents, Bose Herrington, and Norma Lou Herrington, Sr.; his children, Arthur L. Griffin, Jr. and Diane Griffin; his grandchild A. Marrell Griffin; his siblings, Bose Herrington, Jr., Pauline Walker and Annie Bell H. Sturgis; and his son-in-law Arnold J. Seaward.
He is survived by: his wife Lena M. Herrington; his children, Linda Herrington, Debra G. Seaward and Andrew Griffin (Deborah); his siblings, Gloria H. Clark, Carrie H. Wilkerson, Joyce Herrington and Eugene Herrington, Sr.; and his nephew Eugene Herrington, Jr.. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
