He is survived by: his wife Harriet Jones O'Dell; his children, Lara (Willliam "Bill" Reeves), William "Chan" O'Dell (Jane) and Tyler "Ty" O'Dell (Heather); and his grandchildren, William "Will" Reeves, Emory "Emmie" Reeves, Jane Marshall O'Dell, Reyer O'Dell, Charlotte O'Dell, Tyler "Ty" O'Dell and Junior.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors (214 Davis Rd, Augusta, GA 30907). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Wesley United Methodist Church (825 N Belair Rd, Evans, GA 30809). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Westover Memorial Park (2601 Wheeler Rd, Augusta, GA 30904).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Wellstar Golisano Children's Hospital of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia (https://cmn.org), St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, or the Tunnels2Towers Foundation.
