He was predeceased by: his parents, Buster Rhodes and Carrie Bell Rhodes; and his siblings, Earl, Emmett Rhodes and Louise Rhodes Pettigrew.
He is survived by: his wife Billie Ann; his daughters, Kelly Rhodes and Ashley Rhodes Collier (Bob); his grandchildren, Rhodes Collier, Angela Powell and Natalie Willis (Brandon); his sister Dorothy Oellerich; and his close friend Ed Gilliland.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors (214 Davis Rd, Augusta, GA 30907). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at the Brothersville Cemetery (2390 Mims Rd, Hephzibah, GA 30815).
