She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Doctor Robert Strong and Roberta Kirkpatrick Strong; her brother James W. Strong; and her children, Gould Barrett, Robert Barrett, Kirk Barrett, Cornelia LaRussa and Carter Barrett.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Augusta University Department of Music, 1120 15th St., Augusta, GA 30912.
