It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Joyce Reid (Augusta, Georgia), who passed away on September 11, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Jennings and Dauzie Jennings; her brothers, Ray Jennings, Robert Jennings and Alvin Young; and her sons-in-law, Alvin Jones and Pete Cox.

She is survived by: her siblings, Pete Wells (Brenda), Otis Jennings (Brenda), Virgil Jennings (Carolyn), Jerry Jennings, George Young (Cherry) and Judy Jennings; her daughters, Rose Cox and Cathy Jones; her grandchildren, Kelli Cox, Adam Cox (Brandy), Chad Cox (Danielle), Lee Jones and Rachel Sweeting (Brian); and her great grandchildren, Natalie Cox, Kyleigh Jones, Kaitlyn Cox, Noah Cox, AJ Jones, Jackson Reid Sweeting and Finnley Sweeting. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
