He is survived by: his wife Myrtis King Wells; his sons, Timothy Wells (Melissa) and Raymond Wells, III; his siblings, Willie Willie (Bettye), Leroy Wells (Gloria), Betty Wells-Sapp (Shellie), Paul Wells (Doreen), Jimmie Wells (Cynthia), Levern Lewis (Willie) and Mildred Wright; his siblings-in-law, Alice K. Mitchell of Charleston, SC, Roberta Daniels of Augusta, Nancy K. Smith of Augusta, Willie King (Adeline) of Los Angeles, CA, Edward King of Los Angeles, CA, Robert King, Jr. of Linden and Leon King of Debary; and his grandchildren, Chasity, Timothy, Tylik and Tytianna Wells. He is also survived by two great-granddaughters, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives, and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Butler Creek A. M. E Church (1959 Tobacco Rd, Augusta, GA 30906). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bethel A. M. E. Church (623 Crawford Ave, Augusta, GA 30904).
