He is survived by: his wife Carrie McCoy; his children, Charlissa Jasmine McCoy, Nkeira Deseree McCoy, Javorius Devon McCoy, Hakeem Kwane Thompson, Lenwood Jefferson, Antshana Govan and Devonta Art Jefferson; his mother Barbara Thornton; his sisters, Rita Hunter (Sheon), Angela Thornton and Veatra Thornton (Aldo Lopez); his parents-in-law, Calvin Janus Thompson and Carrie Pearl Thompson; his siblings-in-law, Pernell Rutledge, Marilyn Williams, Shaleatha Wright (Mario), Victoria Reed (Samuel), Michael Thompson (Tonya) and Jonathan Thompson; his aunts, Thelma Redding, Margaret Jennings and Lillie Mae Brown; and his uncle Charles Davis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
