Rickey left this world on November 15, 2025 at the age of 76, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Mawby and Ellen Mawby; and his siblings, Jim Mawby and Jackie Demmy. He is survived by: his wife Claudia Mawby; his children, Kelly Myers (Mike), Rickey Earl Mawby (Apryl), Rick Mawby, David Mawby and Sam Mawby; his grandchildren, Kayla, Zack, Tylor, Devin, Alayna, Ryan, Jaida of Jesse, KC, Samantha and Shane; and his siblings, Donna Dabbs, Linda Banks and Tom Mawby. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors (214 Davis Rd, Augusta, GA 30907).
