He is survived by: his wife Linda Kippenberg Gordon; his son Robert "Trey" Gordon III (Jamie); his grandchild Ellie Gordon; his sisters, Bunnie Pinkham and Robin Kester; his siblings-in-law, Nola Belger and Bill Knippenberg (Char); and his cousin Barbara "Babbs" Russell.
