He was predeceased by: his parents, Sterling Long and Neloise Long; and his sister Marie Saxon. He is survived by: his wife Barbara H. Long; his daughters, Lisa Long and Lynn Hays (Jeff); his grandchildren, Matthew Hays (Rebekah), Morgan Hays and Mallory Hays; his great grandchildren, Bennett Hays and Winston Hays; and his brother Roy Long (Jo Ann).
