He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Leo Bagwell (Mary Betty Johnson Bagwell) and Mary Betty Johnson Bagwell; his stepmother Shirley Black Bagwell; and his brother Samuel Leo Bagwell. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Mims Bagwell; his children, Ronald Perry Bagwell, Jr., Joshua Heath Bagwell, Kayla Hall (Joseph), Bill Quattlebaum (Julie) and Cathy Hough (David); his grandchildren, Connor of Silas, C. J., Guy, Luke, Eve, Eden and Eli; his brother Chris Bagwell (Diane); his sister-in-law Diane Allen Bagwell; his great-uncle Furman Bagwell; and his great-aunt Vivian Black. He is also survived by extended family and many friends.
