He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyrille Fortier and Dorothy Eureka Fortier; his wife Janet Fortier; and his siblings, Cyrille Fortier, Jr. and Judy McGrath.
He is survived by: his significant other Idi Devaughn; and his children, Butch Fortier (Cindy), Debra Boyden (Eugene), Kim Castro and Dina Fortier. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
