He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Jack Hinds and Kathleen Wright Harless; his grandparents, Hiram and Eppie Oglesby Wright; his son Kyle Hinds; and his grandparents, Walter and Dovie McAlpine Hinds.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his children, Kevin Hinds, Kent (Annie), Kalon Hinds (Julian) and Kristal Singletary (Chuck); his grandchildren, Brett Hinds, DeAnne Billingsley-Alban (Lou), Jennifer Hinds, Justin Hinds, Kayla Hinds and Jordan Hinds; and his half-siblings, Ronnie Hinds and Roma Harless. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of Chance and Hydrick Funeral Directors (2502 Richmond Hill Rd, Augusta, GA 30906). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors (2502 Richmond Hill Rd, Augusta, GA 30906).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the local Veteran's Charity, Alzheimer's Association, Golden Harvest Food Bank, or preferred Organization.
