He was predeceased by: his mother Dalhia Salter; his stepparents, William Parrish (Mabel) and Dahlia Salter (Carnish); and his sons, Michael Parrish, Ronald Parrish, Dot Gearhart and Francis Parrish.
He is survived by: his stepparents, Mabel Parrish and Carnish Salter; his wife Glenda Parrish; his brother Buck Salter (Peggy); his daughter Dr. Margaret Parrish; and his stepchildren, Kimberly Bridges (Christopher), Paul Merowitz (Bretton), Dean McKenzie (Holly), Nyna Bilder and Tom Snively. He is also survived by Numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors (214 Davis Rd, Augusta, GA 30907). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
