He is survived by: his daughters, Rhonda Howard Marschalk (Edward) and Jennifer Howard Barber (Tom); his grandchildren, Katherine Marschalk and Braye Barber; his sister Delores Howard Gambrell; the mother of his children Joan South Howard; and his friend Deidre Gregory. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors (214 Davis Rd, Augusta, GA 30907). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at the Westview Cemetery (2051 Division St, Augusta, GA 30904).
