She was predeceased by: her parents, David Estel Compton and Leona Hess Compton; her husbands, Arthur Griffith and Emanuel Nutz; her children, Roger, Derek Griffith and Tracy Griffith Fowler; and her siblings, Edith Compton, Rhea Compton, Ruthie Compton, Clovis and Edwin Compton.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Griffith Nutz of Pittsgrove and Glenn Griffith of Augusta, GA; and her siblings, Douglas Compton, Cecil Compton, Alice Anderson and Della Carns. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
