He is survived by: his children, Lee Dority and Stephanie Russ; his grandchildren, David Hicks, Jr., Sebastian Hicks, Marlon Dority, Shaundra Cunningham-Dority, Tonya Dority and Sha'Tia Philadelphia; and his sister Mary Smith (Berry). He is also survived by great grandchildren and other relatives.
