She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas Kenneth Lovett; her parents, Eva Pearl Thigpen Moates and Joseph Edison Moates; her daughter-in-law Paula Lovett; and her siblings, J. W. Moates, Susie Mae Ganus, Mary Ellen Mathis and Betty Ann Moates.

She is survived by: her children, Jerry W. Lovett (Mary Kay) and Thomas M. Lovett; her grandchildren, Karen Lipscomb (Greg), Kenneth Lovett (Sarah) and Tommy Lovett; and her niece Margie Esqueda (Javier). She is also survived by her numerous great-grandchildren.
