It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sadie LaTaunya Garnett (Augusta, Georgia), who passed away on June 13, 2025, at the age of 46, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Lois L. Dent; and her brother Desmond T. Garnett. She is survived by: her father Tyrone Garnett, Sr. (Patty); her siblings, Tyrone Garnett, Jr. (Castara), Zarius Garnett and Chrissy Clark (Michael); her aunt Lurena Bennefield; her uncles, Ricky Dent (Marilyn) and John Parks (Doris); her nieces and nephews, Imani Garnett, Naqwana, Tyshala Garnett, Jamal Garnett (Ebonie), Michael Garnett, Sr., Angelo Gill, Joseph Gill, Cartrell Garnett and Desmond Holmes; her family Sadie; and her extended family Travares Mack (Latisha).
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the C. A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home (314 Laney Walker Blvd A, Augusta, GA 30901). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Crawford Grove Missionary Baptist (2149 Knights Way, Evans, GA 30809).
