It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sadie LaTaunya Garnett (Augusta, Georgia), who passed away on June 13, 2025, at the age of 46, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Lois L. Dent; and her brother Desmond T. Garnett. She is survived by: her father Tyrone Garnett, Sr. (Patty); her siblings, Tyrone Garnett, Jr. (Castara), Zarius Garnett and Chrissy Clark (Michael); her aunt Lurena Bennefield; her uncles, Ricky Dent (Marilyn) and John Parks (Doris); her siblings' children, Imani Garnett, Naqwana, Tyshala Garnett, Jamal Garnett (Ebonie), Michael Garnett, Sr., Angelo Gill, Joseph Gill, Cartrell Garnett and Desmond Holmes; her family Sadie; and her extended family Travares Mack (Latisha).
