It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sandra L. Carte of Augusta, Georgia, born in Bentonia, Mississippi, who passed away on May 6, 2026, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James Ronald Carte; and her parents, Robert Lungrin and Mabel Lungrin. She is survived by: her daughters, Paula Watson, Natalie Lee (Phil) and Angela Hardwick; her grandchildren, John Emory Watson V (Zoe), Davis Watson, Philip Lee Jr., Thomas Lee and Jacob T. Hutto; her great grandchildren, John Emory Watson VI and Carter Watson; and her sister Polly Johnston.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 6th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Our Savior Episcopal Church (4227 Columbia Rd, Augusta, GA 30907).
