It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sara McDaniel of Augusta, Georgia, who passed away on May 1, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Fred McDaniel. She is survived by: her sons, James Alan McElheney and Todd Richard McElheney; her grandchildren, Samantha McElheney, Alexandra McElheney and Collin McElheney; and her stepdaughters, Lisa King and Robin Canup.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors (214 Davis Rd, Augusta, GA 30907).
