She is survived by: her husband Douglas Harper; her sons, Douglas Harper and Jonathan Harper; her stepchildren, Alica Harper, Fredric Harper and Dennis Hunter; her granddaughter Marlayja Harper; and her siblings, Gloria Jones, Shelia Thomas, Charles Patterson (Gloria), Raymond Patterson (Lucy), Kenney Thomas, Willie Thomas and Larry Thomas. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
