She was predeceased by: her parents, Reuben Franklin Douty and Mary Coffey Douty; her husband William "Bill" Rion of Goodlettsville, TN.; and her siblings, Stafford Douty, Max Douty and Gwendolyn Hope Douty Hepp.
She is survived by: her daughters, Paula Carpenter Reardon (Tim) and Mary Carpenter; her grandchildren, Meghann Reardon, Sean Reardon (Morgan) and Allison Reardon; her great grandchildren, Eloise Jo Reardon and Caroline June Reardon; her stepchildren, Sharon Rion Lorenz (Keith), Eric Rion (Teresa) and Philip Rion (Faye); and her brother Horace Douty (Ellen).
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Fleming Baptist Church (3027 Peach Orchard Rd, Augusta, GA 30906).
