He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Reginald Cummings, Tracy West, Jeremi Cummings and Ka'Nechia Cummings; his siblings, Helen Brinson (Leroy), Reverend Freddie Tarver (Videria), Hattie Hammond, Barbara Ann Wright, Willie Tarver (Ronnie), Ricky Tarver (Debra), Angela Thomas (Steve) and Betty Harris (Tracy); and his parents, Solomon Tarver, Sr. and Ollie Mae Garrett Tarver. He was also cherished by four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
