She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Phyllis Lillard and Ralph Lillard; her husband William S. Lanier, Jr.; her children, William S. Lanier, III and Susan Lanier Miller; her son-in-law Stephen Miller; her grandson Henry Eugene Miller; her stepgrandson Caleb Lee Poplin; and her sister Melinda Gerum.
